In the first quarter of 2025, the casual gaming scene in Denmark on iOS showed some interesting trends. Here’s a look at the performance of the top five casual games based on data from Sensor Tower.

Candy Crush Saga from King experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $108K at the beginning of January and peaking at around $145K towards the end of March. However, its weekly downloads saw a consistent decline, from 1.2K at the start of the quarter to about 398 by the end. Active users also decreased from 9.1K to 5.8K over the same period.

Royal Match by Dream Games had relatively stable revenue, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching around $68K. Weekly downloads spiked to over 2K mid-February but settled at 1.1K by the end of March. Active users remained strong, fluctuating around 31K to 36K throughout the quarter.

In the case of Hay Day from Supercell, revenue fluctuated significantly, reaching a high of $105K at the end of March. Downloads decreased from over 1K to 737, while active users declined steadily from 24.7K to 19.7K.

Coin Master by Moon Active saw a dip in revenue during January but recovered slightly by the end of March, reaching $56K. Downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 700, while active users hovered around 8.7K to 9.1K across the quarter.

Finally, Pokémon GO from Niantic, Inc. experienced a surge in revenue during late February, peaking at $217K, followed by a decrease to $46K by the end of March. Downloads increased to over 1.3K mid-quarter, and active users grew from 24.7K to over 35K by the end of March.
